ExtraLabs has updated Skype Recorder, its Windows software, which can automatically record calls to Skype.

Skype is popular with podcasters, because it allows free digital calls to anyone with an internet connection so is a cost effective way to interview guests on your podcast show.

The software records in MP3/WMA/OGG/WAV formats, recording conversations in one or two audio tracks and even has a handy built-in FTP-client for downloading files.

The software will start the recording itself, as soon as you start to talk on Skype. During the conversation, Skype-recorders will encode to your chosen format and save the file on the hard drive.
